This is a critical role delivering a wide array of universal frontline services to our residents and businesses. This will include highway operations, waste services and sustainability, streetscene
and greenspaces, fleet and parking. Central to this is pride in place and the positive impact that these services have on neighbourhoods, wellbeing, investment and regeneration. Working with colleagues you will support the adoption of active travel options and reducing the carbon impact of our operations.

You will be highly customer-focused with strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to see across the whole council, making links to other services and develop a place based approach to working. Transformational leadership and a restorative approach will be crucial, but we are not just looking for someone to save money, we are delivering change projects that really matter and make an impact on the lives of our residents and local businesses.
