I know the first question you’ll have is ‘what does agile working mean to Kirklees and this job?’ We’re working our way through hybrid working – it’s not really that new to us, we were already kitted out and working pretty flexibly. The collaboration I’ll need with this role means you’d be based in Huddersfield a couple of days a week

In a Head of People I’m looking for a leader with a really strong technical HR background – creative and people centred and skilled in a strategic space - and who gets our place. In Kirklees you’ll hear us talking about doing with, not to - I want someone who gets that and works in that way.
The priorities for this role will be:
- Building on the great work to date
- Delivery of our refreshed People strategy
- Supporting our people to work in a post covid way of working
- Getting our trade unions on board
- Continuing to develop your own service
