We are now seeking to strengthen our Homes & Neighbourhood Improvement Board, by appointing an exceptional, innovative Chair to lead a steadfast vision to serve our tenants and provide a ‘world class’ service aligned to the corporate values of Kirklees Council. You will have credible experience in chairing strategic partnerships, an excellent knowledge of the housing sector, as well as the ability to inspire trust and have the interest of our residents at your heart. With significant operational and management experience in a relevant professional specialism, you will be able to inspire and influence change, evaluate risk and a provide a considered roadmap of the future landscape for housing across Kirklees.
You will work closely with Elected Members and provide assurance to the Cabinet that the Board is run in a legal and regulatory compliant manner, therefore an understanding of governance arrangements and financial complexities associated within local authority settings would be desirable.
