We are currently looking to recruit to a key post as part of our Economy and Infrastructure Directorate.   With a new Strategic Director appointed in 2018, and two new Service Directors in post, this is a great time to join us and help seize the opportunities ahead. 

Our Head of Business Investment and Skills will be responsible for leading on business engagement, skills, and inward investment.   Leading a new team of circa 15 staff, you will play a key role in the LEP and city region, and together with the Service Director for Economy and Skills help drive growth in Kirklees. 

Candidates will need senior experience and a successful track record of delivery with relevant professional experience.  Just as important will be your values, attitude and approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with politicians, colleagues, partners and local businesses to ensure that our residents receive the best possible life chances and excellent services.
