Head of Assets & Building Safety
Our housing asset management and investment strategy, adopted by the Council’s Cabinet in March 2023, sets out our vision for social housing in Kirklees with a focus on delivering a resident-led, high-quality housing service. As the Head of Assets & Building Safety, you will provide inspirational and visionary leadership to multi-disciplinary teams, including both internal provision and contracted services. You will oversee repairs and maintenance, asset investment and management, building safety and compliance, and zero carbon initiatives. This role is key to facilitating coordinated working and delivering a best-in-class service. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing relevant strategies and working in partnership with our contractors to drive service improvement.
